The centrifuge tube is made of medical grade transparent polypropylene (PP) and has been widely used in various experimental operations to meet the requirements of biological sample separation. Centrifugal tubes are used for the separation and preparation of various biological samples. The suspension of biological samples is placed in a centrifuge tube and rotated at high speed. Due to the enormous centrifugal force, the suspended small particles (such as organelles and the precipitation of biomolecules) settle at a certain speed, thereby separating from the solution.

·Due to the different radii of various centrifuge rotors or distances from centrifuge tubes to the center of the rotating shaft, the centrifugal force they experience also varies. Therefore, in literature, "relative centrifugal force" or the number "g" is commonly used to represent centrifugal force;
·Relative centrifugal force (RCF) refers to the centrifugal force exerted on particles under the action of a centrifugal force field, which is equivalent to a multiple of the Earth's gravity, measured in units of gravitational acceleration (9.8m/s2);
·Usually, particles are precipitated using relative centrifugal force (RCF), and the magnitude of RCF depends on the horizontal distance from the sample's position to the axis, namely the rotation radius R and rotation speed n. The calculation formula is RCF=1.118x10-5xn2R (g) n, rotation speed (r/min) R, and rotation radius (cm).
